How can TerraTech help me?
TerraTech allows you to utilise areas that may not have been available
to you before. Giving you more options and flexibility.
How does it work?
All TerraTech systems are designed to spread applied load to the
adjacent modules,
allowing tremendous weights to be supported and
carried. Therefore you can safely use
the systems on sensitive surfaces
such as grass.
Does it cause damage to sensitive surfaces?
No. Both EventDeck and DuraDeck protect sensitive surfaces such as
natural grass, synthetic turf, tracks and arena flooring. In fact due
to the ‘greenhouse’ effect, natural turf is often healthier after an
installation.
Can I still water grass while the floor is in place?
Yes. While on natural turf we recommend that you use EventDeck 1 or
HexaDeck, which will allow
ventilation and water to flow through via
special drainage holes.
Can I cover ballroom carpets and marble floors?
Yes. EventDeck 1 & 2 are both ideal for this purpose. Your valuable
carpeted areas are protected
from liquid spills, cigarettes, vehicle
wheels, general wear and tear etc.
How much weight can I apply?
This depends on the system and the sub surface. However EventDeck 1
& 2 are capable of
supporting loads of 3.62 tonnes per sq.ft.
HexaDeck can handle almost 14 tonnes per tile!
So I can drive vehicles over it?
Yes! HexaDeck is designed to take tremendous weights and therefore
allow you to drive vehicles
across soft sand, mud and sensitive grass
areas. We can create access roads, temporary car and
truck parks, site
office compounds, helicopter landing pads, military and relief agency
camps.

How long does it take to install?
Installation times are dependant upon a number of factors that are unique to each project. However as a guide –

Simple. Just call us and we will take a brief from you, arrange a site
visit and prepare a detailed
Scope Of Work. Once approved we will
install then handover your newly available area for
whatever purpose
you require. At the end of the hire period we will collect and remove,
leaving
little or no trace that we were there!
